Sebastian Erard Harp

This is a super Harp of great quality. The harp was made by Sebastian Erard and from the Serial Numberof 3984 we can date it to between 1811 and 1820 but nearer the year of 1811. 

It is a maple and gilt lever harp with a fluted column and gilt angel and cherub to the capital. The harp has all its sound flaps which are so often missing.

This Harp is due to go into the workshop for some minor restoration and a good clean it will look absolutely stunning when finished, so looking forward to seeing it all done.
